Serious violations of children's rights still happen in many parts of the world. Therefore, on Bice's initiative individuals and organizations around the world launched a World Appeal to a new mobilisation for Childhood on June 4 in Geneva. 

 

Bice Regional Delegation for Europe and CIS acts as a platform of exchange and reflection and a catalyst to promote and protect the rights of children in CIS and Eastern Europe.

With its local partners, the Regional Delegation organises and supports the exchange of experience and know-how on specific issues in order to reinforce the knowledge of professionals and those who are in regular contact with children.

In all of its actions the Delegation fosters the training of trainers and contributes to the widespread dissemination of good practices.

This guarantees an effective and long-lasting impact on society. It ensures the sustainability of these good practices through sensitising and convincing the public authorities to implement them.

Currently the Delegation for Europe and CIS acts primarily for children with disabilities, children in conflict with the law and children who are victims of sexual abuse.
