‘Grain of Sand' is a global programme of prevention of violence against children that aims at improving the detection of risk situations, breaking the shutting up of children and encouraging the initiatives-taking. It is addressed to children (as pedagogical tool) as well as adults, by allowing the identification of relay-adults in the environment of each young. ‘PTA' promotes the involvement of parents of pupils in the life and decisions of the school. It was interesting to link ‘Grain of Sand' and PTA since both tools lie on communities' resources (school and family).
During the seminar, the 30 participants (including 1 young person per organisation) were trained on the concrete way to build up ‘Grain of Sand' and each group already worked out a proposition adapted to its context.
