Seminar with Patrick Sanson on clinical psychopedagogy as a means to help autistic children held in Krasnoyarsk

This 4 day seminar held the 16th to the 19th November united 90 professionals working with autistic children and others facing serious communication difficulties in Russia and CIS.

This seminar, hosted by the Krasnoyarsk CCP (Centre for Curative Pedagogy), the French Embassy in Russia, the Bice and the Moscow CCP, was a grand success. The participants were pleased to have the opportunity to work on a problem that is still little known. In a region of the world where, despite real improvement, aid is often insufficient for children with severe communication disabilities, Sanson’s methods and support have led to real changes thanks to the efforts of the CCP. This most recent seminar, as a continuation of these efforts, will continue to increase and improve the aid for autistic children in Russia and CIS.

In addition to the seminar, Sanson presented at the French Embassy in Russia. This presentation served to further increase awareness of the work being done for autistic children and gave an opportunity to the Bice delegation for Europe and CIS to present their projects at the moment of the 20th anniversary of the Convention of the rights of the child.
